Tianjin University
Tianjin University (TJU) is a national university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education of China. It is the first university in modern Chinese education history. It was part of Peiyang University in 1895. In 1951, after restructuring, Peiyang University was renamed Tianjin University, and became one of the largest multidisciplinary engineering universities in China. The University was one of the first 16 universities accredited by the State in 1959. It is also among the first group of institutions of higher learning in the national “985-Project”, “211-Project” to which priority is given in construction.
Since its establishment, the school has made outstanding contributions to national economic and social development by adhering to the tradition of "building a strong country through learning", "seeking truth from facts", "rigorous academic management", "patriotic dedication" and the pursuit of "innovation". So far, it has trained more than 300,000 high-level talents for the country and society. For a long time, through the unremitting efforts of teachers and students, Tianjin University has become a high-level research university with strong teachers, distinct discipline characteristics, top-notch education quality and scientific research level in China and great influence in the world.

Tianjin University (TJU) is an important partners of CEPHEI consortium. TJU team performs various activities of CEPHEI Project development and dissemination:
- Course design Labs (B-Labs);
- Blended learning content;
- e-Learning platform for Industrial Innovation blended learning;
- Dissemination of project results;
- Sustainability of the project results after EU funding;
- Quality assessment.
