The 8th Consortium Meeting was held in St. Peterburg, Russia

The eighth consortium meeting took place in St. Petersburg 23-24 May at St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University (SPbPU). The meeting was officially opened by the Director of Institute for Computer Science and Technology of SPbPU, Prof. V.P. Shkodyrev.

A great progress was made in course development since the last meeting. Some partner Universities proposed new courses or updated existing according to the demand. All course descriptions would be completed in a month, and by the next consortium meeting in September courses are expected to be 70% ready to open.  

The final version of CEPHEI standards was presented by MEF. The document covers not only eCourse development standards and recommendations but many eLearning development aspects including the issues related to the national standards of China and Russia.
